Precision deep hole drilling is a drilling process using a gundrill. As its name suggests, a gundrill was a type of drill for drilling the barrel of a gun. Nowadays, such crafting techniques and the facility thereof for drilling deep straight holes are applied to various types of machinery parts.
Deep hole drilling is performed by rotating each of the tool and the circular cylindrical object relatively to one other to avoid slide and bend of the hole. In the case of deep hole drilling (φ0.1 diameter and 1,000mm lengths), the difference between the size of entrance and exit of a hole is within 1 mm error. However, the error difference depends on the outside diameter, the material and straightness thereof
We can perform deep hole drilling within a range of φ4~32 and in range of less than φ4 by using several types of machinery and equipments.

We also perform multiple holes drilling on end faces with high positional accuracy using NC machines. This multiple deep holes drilling on end faces is available within a square range from 500mm wide to 240mm long for almost any size of objects.
